Prices for Bajaj’s Updated Avenger 220 Revealed

The updated bike comes with a host of new features.

The updated Avenger costs ₹93,466 (ex-showroom, Delhi; both variants). For 2018, Bajaj has only updated the 220, since it’s the highest seller in the Avenger range. The bike now comes with new headlights with LED DRLs. Both variants of the bike get a digital backlit instrument pod – backlit blue on the Cruise; orange on the Street. There’s a new instrument pod that features a speedometer, two trip meters, a fuel gauge and a service reminder. There’s a new Moon White paint scheme as well.

The Cruise is fitted with wire-spoke wheels (17-inch at the front, 15-inch at the rear) and a backrest with the Avenger insignia, while the Street variant comes with a blacked-out theme, alloy wheels, a smaller cowl above the new headlight, a matte black exhaust with an aluminium-finish heat shield and tip, as well as a new grab rail. Both bikes feature revised seat textures for better comfort on longer trips.

Mechanically, there are no changes. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox, and the 220cc, single-cylinder motor puts out 18.8hp and 17.5Nm.
