Both brands will jointly develop a new range of mid-capacity motorcycles.

Both brands will begin forming a new global alliance and while details are minimal at the moment, it is clear that this will be a non-equity alliance. The alliance will work to build mid-capacity range bikes that will benefit from technology learnings of both brands.

For Triumph, this deal will help them reach a much wider audience in emerging markets, especially in higher volume segments. For Bajaj, the company now has access to the iconic brand and the famed motorcycles that come from its factories. This collaboration will help Bajaj develop a segment of relaxed motorcycles that will probably exist alongside.
