The BS6 compliant Ford Ecosport is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 100 bhp power and 215 Nm torque. It offers a mileage of 21.7 kmpl (ARAI certified). It also gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine that churns out 122 bhp of power output with 149 Nm of peak torque. The petrol variant offers a mileage of 15.9 kmpl (ARAI certified). Both units are paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard but the petrol gets a 6-speed automatic transmission as an option.
The BS6 Tata Nexon is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 110 bhp power and 170 Nm torque. The petrol unit offers a mileage of 17.88 kmpl (ARAI certified). The BS6 Nexon is also available with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 110 bhp of power output with 260 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol unit offers a mileage of 17.0 kmpl (ARAI certified). The XUV300 also offers a 1.5-litre diesel unit that churns out 115 bhp power and 300 Nm torque. Hyundai updated its 5-seater SUV with BS6 compliant engines. Hyundai Venue comes with three engine options. A 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83 bhp of maximum power output and 115 Nm of peak torque. It also has a 1.0-liter turbo petrol unit that delivers 120 bhp and 172 Nm peak torque. The diesel variant sources power from a 1.5 litre diesel engine that produces a maximum power output of 99 bhp with 240Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The manual petrol unit offers a mileage of 18.27 kmpl (ARAI certified) and the automatic petrol variant offers a fuel efficiency figure of 18.15 kmpl (ARAI certified). While the diesel unit offers a figure of 23.7 kmpl (ARAI certified).
