Ceat Launches its Zoom Rad X1 Radial Tyres at India Bike Week

Racing legend Freddie Spencer unveiled the tyres, which are meant for 200-400cc sports bikes.

Ceat launched a new premium tyre at India Bike Week 2017, called the Zoom Rad X1. Motorcycle racing legend Freddie Spencer unveiled the tyre, which will cater to 200-400cc sports bikes, which include bikes like the KTM Duke and RC twins, Bajaj’s Dominar 400 and Yamaha’s YZF R15.

The tyres are available in 130/70 R17, 110/70 R17 and 150/60 R17 sizes. The Zoom Rad X1 tyre comes with an ‘H’ speed rating, so they are capable of safely sustaining speeds of up to 210kph.

This new tyre was introduced thanks to growing demand from younger audiences, high net worth individuals (HNIs) and the recent significant rise of this segment of sporty motorcycles.
