eMotion Motors will unveil the ‘Surge’ on World Environment Day.

Coimbatore-based eMotion Motors will showcase a new geared electric motorcycle, the Surge, on World Environment Day.

The bike claims to be able to hit a top-speed of 120kph and can hit 60kph in less than 4sec. eMotion is strongly focussing its advertising on the performance aspect of its upcoming motorcycle. The bike comes with a four-speed, semi-automatic gearbox and a 40Ah Lithium-ion battery pack.

The bike comes with most features available on current motorcycles, including an SOS feature, animated turn indicators and a reverse feature. The company says it can cover 100km on a full charge and can be charged in 30min, using an express charging feature. The bike offers smartphone integration, navigation and cloud connectivity. The bike also offers storage space that can hold a little more than a helmet.
