It recently trademarked three upcoming model names - the 48X, the Bronx and the Pan America.

Last year, Harley announced that it is developing 100 new motorcycles over the next ten years. Some names have surfaced - the 48X, the Bronx and the Pan America, which Harley filed a trademark for in December 2017. These bikes will most probably be part of Harley’s updated Sportster range.

The Sportster range, over the past years, hasn’t seen any major updates. But that looks set to change. The 48X could be the Forty-Eight with uprated suspension and brakes. The Bronx may be a bike with an urban focus to either be sold alongside or replace the Iron 883. The Pan America could be a Sportster-based tourer to replace the 1200T.

In India, Harley’s current Sportster range includes the Iron 883, 1200 Custom, Forty-Eight and the Roadster.
