Hero Motocorp has recently announced their debut in the global markets of UK and EU. They will be launching the Vida V1 electric scooter by Vida brand in these markets in around mid of 2024. In the beginning, the auto manufacturer will first sell their products in Spain, the UK, and France and then will move their market to other countries with its range of high-end petrol scooters and bikes. Besides the huge announcement, the brand unveiled the Vida V1 coupe, which is actually another single-seat version of the Vida V1 electric scooter with a coupe-style rear section. And, this new coupe also retains similar features to that of the Vida V1 Pro.
The Vida V1 Pro can be easily acquired from dealership stores as it is currently available on sale at a starting price of INR 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The V1 Pro is facilitated with a 3.94 kWh battery which can be easily split into 2 removable units. This scooter has a claimed driving range of 165 km and goes 0-40 kmph in merely 3.2 seconds. It can easily be charged at the rate of 12 km/m and has a peak speed of 80 kmph. Other specifications of the scooter include a 7-inch touchscreen, cruise control, over-the-air updates, keyless control, a two-way throttle, and an S.O.S Alert.

Both of the aforementioned EV scooters get 3 distinct riding modes- Ride, Sports, and Eco. The Vida V1 scooter is based on an intelligent platform that is scalable, flexible, and modular, easily enabling the vehicle to learn and adapt on the go.
Along with the Vida V1 Coupe, the brand also unveiled the Concept Lynx electric off-road motorbike and Concept Acro which is an electric bike for kids. The Lynx Concept only weighs about 82 kg and churns out a peak power of 15 kW. It is developed and modelled after the Lynx cat, which is highly lithe and acquires characteristics like traction control and regenerative braking, which are easily operable using a mobile application.
The Concept Acro is equipped with a 3-point flexible frame that can easily be changed in under 2 minutes, without employing any tools, to be easily managed by kids aged between 2 and 9. The Acro scooter also accesses a mobile app which can be used to manage geo-fencing, speed, and along with that gets a ‘disable’ button.
As of now, no official launch-date or time-frame has been set for these 2 electric two-wheeler concepts by the manufacturer.
