The Cliq is an entry-level commuter for the rural scooter buyers.

Honda, a heavy hitter in the 100-110cc scooter segment, has launched a new commuter, the Cliq. It is based on the hugely successful Activa, and this unisex scooter, priced at ₹42,500, is primarily targeted at the rural market.
The Cliq has a 8.04hp, 109.19cc engine that’s paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. It comes with Honda's CBS (combined braking system) as standard. This would be the first product Honda has launched in accordance with the upcoming government regulations that mandate CBS in all sub-125cc vehicles by April 1, 2018.

At 102kg, the Cliq is 6 kg lighter than the standard Activa and the 743mm seat height is a fair bit lower than the Activa’s. Honda calls the Cliq a unisex scooter. The bike can only carry 3.5 litres of fuel though. The scooter comes with tubeless tyres that claim to offer better performance on rough roads and last longer. Other practical elements include the wide floorboard, large underseat storage and optional rear carrier.

The Cliq is presently available in four colour options: Patriotic Red with White, Black, Moroccan Blue with White, and Orcus Grey. It will be manufactured at Honda's second plant in Tapukara, Rajasthan.
