To comply with new emission norms, Honda has released the updated BS-IV compliant version of its Aviator.

Automakers around the country have released BS-IV compliant versions of their vehicles and some have taken this as an opportunity to add more features. In the case of the Honda Aviator, what’s new is the addition of an automatic headlamp. It will also be available in four colours - red, white, black and matte silver.

The deadline for making all vehicles BS-IV compliant for automakers in India is April 1st, 2017 and it looks like all the major names have finished this task already. The Aviator is a premium version of the Activa, which is one of Honda's most successful products. Though they share the same engine, both two-wheelers share the same 110cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine. The Aviator’s design is much sharper than the curvy Activa. This scooter features an (optional) front disc brake, a larger 12-inch front wheel and a better telescopic front suspension. The Aviator also comes fitted with a mobile charging point under the seat.
