Jawa Motorcycles have received overwhelming response in India and as a result, the bikes are sold out till September 2019.

Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd. announced that all Jawa motorcycles have been sold out till September 2019, courtesy the humongous response from Jawa fans. As a result, Jawa would stop further online booking of the motorcycles effectively from the midnight of 25th December, 2019. Deliveries of the Jawa motorcycles are slated to begin in March 2019.

“With such a tremendous response, it is my duty to inform the customers that we are sold out till September 2019 based on the current online bookings. Authenticity and honesty have been the hallmark of the brand. With such a large booking order, Jawa believes it is only fair to announce the waiting period for those with confirmed bookings. The current waiting period for online bookings already extends till September 2019 however the deliveries will start from March 2019 as per the booking sequence.” said Mr. Anupam Thareja, Co-founder, Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd.

The company plans to ramp up production in order to shorten the delivery period for the customers. Customers would still be able to book a Jawa for themselves by visiting a Jawa dealership. Currently, Jawa is focusing on the inaugural of their dealer channels. A total of 100+ showrooms are scheduled to be operational by 15th February, 2019. All the showrooms would be a one stop solution for customers including Sales, Service and Spares. The company has already opened 10 showrooms up till now, 5 in Delhi, 3 in Bangalore and 2 in Pune.

Jawa currently retails two motorcycles, the Jawa and the Jawa Forty-two while the third one, Perak would go on sale in 2019. The Jawa and Jawa Forty-two are powered by a 293cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder, DOHC engine that develops 27 bHP and 28 Nm of torque. The brand recently launched both the motorcycles with a rear disc brake and ABS as option for a premium of Rs. 9000/-. The Jawa retails at Rs. 1,67,000/- while the Jawa Forty-two is priced at Rs. 1,58,000/- (both prices ex-showroom, India).
