A video showing the V4-powered Panigale successor being tested on a track leaked on the internet recently.

Ducati boss, Claudio Domenicali first spoke about the V4 superbike at the 2017 MotoGP team launch in Bologna this January. The production version of the bike will be revealed at the 2017 EICMA show this November.

The video gives us a first listen at the new bike's sound. The short 45sec video, uploaded by Belgian website Maxx Moto, isn’t extremely clear, but the publication has stated that it is the New Ducati Superbike. From the video, the bike’s engine sounds deep, powerful and a lot like a MotoGP bike.

However, the production bike may sound slightly different and quieter. Currently, Aprilia’s RSV4 is the only production bike sold with a V4 engine.
