Yamaha dealers have started accepting bookings for the Yamaha MT-15

Yamaha is all set to launch the MT-15 streetfighter in the Indian market next month. Ahead of its launch, dealers have started accepting bookings for the bike for Rs. 5000/- booking amount. Yamaha MT-15 is a naked version of the Yamaha R-15 V3. Both the bikes look very different but share the same engine and some of the mechanicals.

Powering the Yamaha MT-15 is a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that produces a maximum power output of 19 BHP with a peak torque output of 15 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The Yamaha MT-15 will be equipped with dual channel ABS as standard to meet the new safety norms.

The styling of the MT-15 is inspired by its elder siblings, the MT-10 and MT-09. It comes with LED headlight, quirky looking cowl and muscular fuel tank for an aggressive and youthful look. It comes with telescopic front fork and monoshock rear suspension. There is an all-digital instrument cluster as well that provides multiple information.
