The 2019 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade and CBR1000 RR Fireblade SP have been launched in India, priced from Rs. 16.43 to 19.28 lakhs.

Honda opened bookings for 2019 CBR1000RR Fireblade and CBR1000RR Fireblade SP. The CBR1000RR Fireblade retails Rs. 16.43 Lacs and the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP at Rs. 19.28 Lacs (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2019 Fireblade is powered by the same engine as seen on the 2018 Fireblade. It is a 999cc in-line four-cylinder engine producing 191.6 HP and 114 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed transmission. A 'Wheelie Contol System' has been added to the Fireblade which provides higher security during acceleration. Earlier the Wheelie Control was integrated into the Traction Control System but has been separated now based on customer feedback. The motorcycles carry forward features such as ABS, ride-by-wire, nine-level traction control, selectable engine braking, an electronic steering damper and a power selector. The Fireblade features a full-color TFT liquid crystal instrumentation that shows a three-position 'W' setting alongside the Power, Engine Braking and HSTC (Honda Selectable Traction Control) settings.

Honda has also improved the ride-by-wire system on the Fireblade, the company claims a 45 percent faster reaction time for electric controls for better handling at higher speeds. The advancement to this system will offer riders a finer and gentle control of the motorcycle. In addition to these features, the Fireblade SP gets semi-active Ohlins Electronic Control (S-EC) suspension (43mm NIX30 inverted forks up front and a TTX36 monoshock round the back), a quick shifter and downshift assist.

The new Honda CBR1000RR Fireblades bikes come in 2 colors, Grand Prix Red and Matt Ballistic Black Metallic.
