2020 BMW X1 Facelift Launched at Rs 35.90 Lakhs(EX-Showroom)

2020 BMW X1 facelift has been launched with a few cosmetic updates and revised engine options.

BMW India has launched the 2020 X1 SUV at an introductory price of Rs  35.90 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. The facelifted model sports cosmetic updates while powered by BS 6 compliant engines. Competing with the likes of Mercedes Benz GLA, Audi Q3, Volvo XC40, the 2020 BMW X1 facelift goes on sale from today across the nation.

2020 BMW X1 Facelift: Engine Specifications

The 2020 X1 will be powered by two BS6 compliant engine options. The petrol variants will be powered by a 2.0-litre engine that produces 192 bhp power and 280 Nm torque, mated to a 7-speed automatic unit. On the other hand, the diesel variants will draw power from a 2.0-litre motor that produces 190 bhp power and 400 Nm torque while linked to an 8-speed automatic unit. Both engines send the power to the front wheels. 

2020 BMW X1 Facelift: Exterior Update

The facelifted X1 gets an aggressive new front fascia that flaunts larger kidney grilles flanked by sleek LED headlamps. Riding on new alloy wheels, it features redesigned front and rear bumpers. The rear also gets LED taillights along with larger exhaust pipes. 

2020 BMW X1 Facelift: Interior Update

Inside, the facelifted X1 offers a dashboard similar to the outgoing model. It flaunts a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and a redesigned gear selector. Apart from these, other highlighted features include wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button start and powered front seats. The ambient lighting creates an attractively warm atmosphere. 

2020 BMW X1 Facelift: Safety Features

It also offers a host of safety features that include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, a rearview camera, traction control, electronic stability control along with a tyre pressure monitor system.
