TVS Radeon price starts from Rs 59,942, it gets two new colour options - Regal Blue and Chrome Purple

TVS Radeon is one of the top-selling models in the country and recently crossed the 3-lakh sales mark. To mark this achievement, TVS Motor Company has revealed two new colours schemes for the model. The two new colour options are Regal Blue and Chrome Purple. TVS Radeon price starts from Rs 59,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is currently sold in two variants - Base and Commuter of the Year (COTY) Special Edition. The base variant gets the new Regal Blue paint shade alongside the existing  colour options like Royal Purple, Pearl White, Golden Beige, Metal Black, Titanium Grey and Volcano Red. While the TVS Radeon COTY Special Edition gets the Chrome Purple paint shade along with Chrome Black and Chrome Brown. TVS Radeon's main rivals are Honda Shine, Hero Passion Pro and Hero Splendor Plus in the Indian market. 

If we talk about the dimensions of the bike, it measures 2202mm in length, 705mm in width and 1088 in height. Its fuel tank capacity stands at 10 litres. The motorcycle is packed with features like USB charging port, side stand indicator with beeper, chrome metal exhaust among others. While the COTY Special Edition provides chrome rear-view mirrors, new seat and disc brakes.

TVS Radeon is powered by a BS6 compliant 4 stroke 109.7cc engine with Eco-Thrust Fuel Injection. The engine belts out 8.08 bhp @7350 rpm and peak torque of 8.7 Nm @ 4500 rpm. While transmission duties are handled by a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox. Chennai based manufacturer claims that the New Radeon will have better fuel economy than before.  Suspension duties are taken care of by Telescopic oil damped shock absorber in the front and 5 steps adjustable hydraulic shock absorber towards the rear. The base variant offers dual drum brakes - 120 mm front and 110 mm rear. Radeon COTY Special Edition comes with the option of a 13mm drum or a 240mm disc brake up front while a 110mm drum brake can be found towards the rear.
