Honda Amaze has been having a good time in the market as it has gone on to become the best selling car for the company in India. Now the company has launched the Ace edition of the car in the Indian market. Honda launched their second generation Amaze in the Indian market in 2018 Auto Expo. The sedan has become a huge success for the company as it has gone on to achieve a remarkable sales figure of more than a lakh units ever since it was launched. The brand also recently brought out the top model VX trim of the sedan and now the Japanese maker has launched a special Ace edition of the Amaze based on the same trim. The new edition is available with petrol and diesel engine options in the market.
Available in Radiant Red, Lunar Silver and White Orchid Pearl shades, the tweaks on the new special edition Ace consist of black alloy wheels and trunk spoiler, Ace branded seat covers, front room lamp, black door visor, door edge garnish, and ace edition emblem. The Bookings for Amaze Ace are now open, and company will soon begin the deliveries of the car.
Rajesh Goel, the senior vice president and director of marketing and sales at Honda Cars India talked about the Honda Amaze reaching the 1 lakh sales figure and stated,

Talking of the mechanical aspect of the Ace edition of Honda Amaze, the sedan comes with a 1.2L petrol engine rated to deliver 88 Bhp-110 Nm and the diesel engine is a 1.5L turbo unit rated for 80 Bhp-160 Nm. These engines come with the option of a CVT automatic transmission or a manual gearbox. However the diesel version of the Honda Amaze generates more power at 98.6 Bhp and 200 Nm with the manual gearbox. Honda Amaze locks horns with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Volkswagen Ameo, Tata Tigor and Ford Figo Aspire in the market.
