Ather 450 electric scooter deliveries begin

Ather Energy has commenced deliveries of the Ather 450 electric scooter in Bangalore.

Ather Energy has started delivering the Ather 450. Select few customers were invited to the assembly unit to take the delivery of the electric scooter. Ather has set up private charging stations at customers' residence and also multiple public fast charging stations in Bangalore. The owners will have free charging available both at home and across the city.

There are currently a total of 22 charging stations of Ather in Bangalore, which the customers can see in their AtherGrid phone app. The electric bike maker is launching the product in phases. After running the sales in Bangalore, the next target for Ather is Chennai, which will see operations from Q2 2019. 

The Ather 450 electric scooter is made for city riding conditions with a total range of 75 km and a top speed of 80 km/hr. It has an advanced 7-inch touchscreen dashboard that has multiple connectivity options along with navigation and vehicle data. It has OTA (over-the-air) updates capability which can improve and provide new features with every update. The price of the Ather 450 is Rs. 1.24 lakhs (on-road Bangalore).
