The 302R is the faired sibling of the TnT 300 naked. It’s likely to hit showrooms sometime in July.

DSK Motowheels, the umbrella brand for Benelli, has commenced bookings for the 302R. It is a small-capacity full-faired motorcycle that shares much of its hardware with the TnT300 street naked. The 302R can be booked at all the company’s 25 showrooms located across the country. Prices for the bike haven’t been revealed.

The 302R gets a 300cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that makes 38hp and peak torque of 27.4Nm. The unit is the same as in the TNT300. However, it’s not just the 300cc, naked bike with a fairing bolted on. The 302R gets a revised trestle frame, and uses a centrally mounted rear monoshock in place of the naked’s lateral rear monoshock.

While it’s quite heavy at 190kg, the bike is positioned as a sports tourer than an outright sportsbike.
The bike was earlier estimated to cost about ₹3 lakh (ex-showroom). But the implementation of GST is likely to drive prices up to ₹3.50 lakh.
