BMW Launches XM Label in India as its Most Powerful Production Car; Check Price and Features

The first-ever BMW XM Label is being offered in an exclusive BMW Frozen Carbon Black Metallic color scheme.

The luxury car manufacturer bagged high with the launch of its most powerful production car, the XM Label, in the Indian market. Available at a starting price of INR 3.15 crore (ex-showroom), the BMW XM Label will reach Indian shores as a completely built-up unit (CBU). The automaker is only going to offer one unit of the robust XM Label in India. In global markets, this powerful production car model is limited to 500 units only.

The company says that the BMW XM Label is its most robust offering in the automotive market. The BMW XM Label is being offered in an enticing color scheme, i.e., BMW Frozen Carbon Black Metallic. It houses the brand-specific Leather Merino upholstery, which is covered in Fiona Black/Red.

The BMW XM Label Red features unique design elements, including a window frame surround, bright red-colored accents on the kidney grille, a radiator grille with a red XM badge, 22-inch alloy wheels, and wheel inserts.

Inside, the BMW XM Label features a dual-tone red and black theme for the upholstery and seats. The new BMW car features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch touchscreen, a head-up display, a 1,475-watt amplifier, Adaptive M Suspension Professional, a dedicated boost mode, and a 20-speaker Bowers and Wilkins Diamond sound system. For safety, the new XM Label houses six airbags, dynamic brake control, and active roll stabilization.

BMW XM Label Powertrain

The XM Label draws power from a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine that is mated to an electric motor. The unit can churn out 748 bhp of peak power and torque of 1,000 Nm. The engine equipped in the standard BMW XM car, on the contrary, can generate 653 bhp of power and 800 Nm of torque.

The ICE (internal combustion engine) version produces power of 585 bhp and torque of 750 Nm. On the other hand, the electric motor generates a power of 197 bhp and 279 Nm of torque. According to the brand, the BMW XM Label can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. It has a limited peak speed of 250 km/h. The car receives an optional M Driver’s Package that increases the top speed of the car to 290 km/h.

BMW is offering the XM Label with a 25.7 kWh battery set. With the help of the new battery set, the electric version can have a certified range of 76-82 km. In the Indian market, the BMW XM label is going to compete with luxury performance SUVs like Aston Martin DBX, Audi RSQ8, and Lamborghini Urus.
