BS6 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 Prices Revealed

Royal Enfield BS6 650 Twin gets a hike of Rs 9000 on the ex-showroom price.

Royal Enfield had already commenced bookings for the BS6 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in the country. Avilable in selected cities both these motorcycles can be booked by depositing a token amount of Rs 10,000. However the recent development is that the prices of both Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental 650 have been leaked online ahead of their launch. According to a media report, both these models receive a substantial hike of Rs 8,500 - Rs 9,600 in their pricing in comparison to the outgoing BS4 models.

Under the frame, both Royal Enfield 650 and Contental GT 650 come powered by a 649 cc, parallel-twin, air and oil-coiled petrol engine that churns out 47 bhp @ 7250 rpm and 52 Nm of peak torque @ 5250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and is capable of speeds of over 160 kmph. 


Royal Enfield equips the BS6 compliant Twins with a bunch of accessories. These include handle-bar brace pad, fork gaiters, engine guards, short fly screen, pannier mounting kit, and soft panniers. The Continental GT 650 gets an option of single-seat while the Interceptor 650 comes with a touring seat to provide comfort during a long journeys.
