The Italian sportscar maker’s GTC4Lusso and GTC4Lusso T grand tourers are now on sale at ₹5.2 crore and ₹4.2 crore (ex-showroom, India) respectively. Due to its lower price-tag, the latter is a model with which the brand intends to cater to younger sportscar buyers.
The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso is a facelifted version of the FF. It comes with new, more aggressive rear fenders, a new rear diffuser, a roof-mounted spoiler and a new front grille, all of which have improved the car’s aerodynamics. The four-seater remains dimensionally unchanged.
Powering the GTC4Lusso is a 6,262cc, naturally aspirated V12 which makes 680hp, 30hp more than the FF. The engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. It can do the 0-100kph run in a claimed 3.4sec, and hit a top-speed of 335kph.
The GTC4Lusso T gets a 610hp, 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 petrol motor, also mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox. However, both the GTC4Lusso and the GTC4Lusso T get rear-wheel steering, which improves handling and grip.
The cars debut Ferrari's dual cockpit display, which features both, a driver cockpit and a passenger cockpit, separated by a central divide. Both also get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system which comes with Apple Car Play and sat-nav.
