The car gets upgrades to make it more upmarket, but remains mechanically unchanged.

The company is working on a mid-cycle refresh for its Ranger pickup truck. The Ranger shares its underpinnings with the Endeavour SUV sold in India and the updated car will debut in Thailand first.

The T6 generation Ranger has been on sale in ASEAN markets since 2015 and this mid-cycle facelift is only minor. The grille is now smaller, the chunky chrome bar on which the Blue Oval badge is mounted has been split into two longer bars, there’s a new front bumper, and the LED DRLs have been added. The facelift will attempt to make the car look more upmarket. Some of the upgrades may make it to our Endeavour, which is due for a mid-cycle update.

There's no word on whether Ford plans to introduce the Ranger in India yet.
