Hero HF Deluxe IBS has been launched with better braking performance

Hero MotoCorp has introduced IBS in the Hero HF Deluxe which has been priced at Rs. 49,300/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). IBS technology is basically combi braking system that applies brakes to both the tyres simultaneosly providing better braking performance and hence being safer than the conventional braking system.

The Indian bike maker has also provided bigger rear drum with the updated Hero HF Deluxe. It comes with a bigger 130 mm rear drum which improves the braking performance along with the IBS system. Apart from these additions, there are no other changes done to the bike. There is a new colour option though - Heavy Grey with Green.

Powering the 2019 Hero HF Deluxe IBS is the same 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine that produces a maximum power output of 8.24 HP and a peak torque of 8.05 HP. This bike comes with a claimed fuel efficiency of 88.24 km/l. The added safety features ahead of the new norms is a welcome move by Hero MotoCorp.
