Honda CB300R launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 2.41 lakhs, imported via CKD route

Honda has launched the CB300R in the Indian market with a price of Rs. 2.41 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Honda CB300R is a unique motorcycle for the market having off-beat styling and premium features on offer. The Japanese motorcycle maker is currenty assembling the CB300R in India and it competes against the new BMW G 310 R and KTM Duke 390.

Powering the Honda CB300R is a 286cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder, DOHC egine that produces a maximum power output of 30.4 BHP at 8000 RPM with a peak torque of 27.4Nm at 6500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 30.2 km/l and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 10-litres.

The street-fighter is based on a diamond frame and comes with a seat height of 799 mm and the ground clearance is 151 mm. The CB300R comes with 41 mm USD forks at the front and 7-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear with 107 mm travel. The bike is offered with 110/70/17 front and 150/60/17 rear tyre. It comes with all-digital instrument cluster and LED headlights.
