The Grom minibike and the Scoopy scooter will be revealed at the end of the year.

Both new products were spotted testing in India, which points to their possible introduction here sometime at the end of this financial year.

The Grom features a 125cc engine and a four-speed transmission. It also comes features fuel injection, front and rear disc brakes and even optional ABS. If Honda does in fact bring the Grom here, expect it to cost significantly more than the Navi.

The Scoopy scooter has been on sale in Asian markets for a while now. The bike spotted here is the new 2017 version, which was unveiled abroad in May. There’s an instantly noticeable enormous oval headlamp that sits on the front apron that will certainly help it stand out in our Scooter Market. Other retro elements include round rear view mirrors, and curvy body panels along the rear. The Scoopy will be powered by a 110cc motor, and will come with fuel injection and start-stop technology. The Scoopy’s features include an LED projector headlamp and a digital instrument cluster.

There’s no information on whether these products will be sold here in their overseas spec or if they will be tailored for our market. A point to be noted is that all vehicles caught testing in India are not necessarily destined for launch in our market. They may simply be undergoing R&D testing.
