Honda has unveiled the Monkey 125, which it had earlier shown as a concept at bike shows throughout in 2017. It now comes with an upside-down front fork, fully-digital instruments, LED lighting and the same 125cc motor from the Grom.
The bike features a two-tone retro colour scheme straight out of the 1970s. You can see chrome details seen on the headlight and tail-light assembly, exhaust heat shield, turn signal indicators and instrument cluster. The bike comes with a 5.6-litre fuel tank and the, comparatively, large seat. The bike uses a 125cc air-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder engine which puts out 9.3hp and 10.9Nm.
The bike also has a total of four gears and Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 80kpl, thanks to the motor’s fuel-injection system. It is fitted with an upside-down front fork and dual rear shock absorbers and comes with ABS-equipped front and rear disc brakes. There are three colour combinations on sale - yellow/white, red/white and black/white.
