Hyundai India Extends Warranty & Services by 2 Months

Hyundai India, identical to its contemporaries like Maruti Suzuki, Renault & Toyota, has extended the warranty, extended warranty and free services by 2 months in the country. This initiative has been introduced for customers who are unable to avail services due to lockdown conditions in their cities or states. Furthermore, the brand's 24x7 RoadSide Assistance facility will be continued for all its customers across the nation. Currently, India is gripped with the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and every auto manufacturer is supporting its customers by launching such noble initiatives.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “During these challenging times, Hyundai has initiated multiple programs to expedite relief to people across the country by delivering lifesaving Medicare oxygen equipment. Also, we have announced the extension of warranty, extended warranty and free service to our customers by 2 months to ensure adequate support during these challenging times. Hyundai will continue to stand by its customers and ensure seamless support through our 24X7 road side assistance program thereby ensuring help in case of any emergency.” Hyundai had already provided its customers with the facility of 360 degree digital & contact-less service.

Hyundai is offering a range of services for its customer base in the form of online service booking, vehicle status update, Pick & Drop from home/office, and online payment facility. The South-Korean automaker has more than 1300 workshops in India while the existing buyers can also avail other offerings like extended warranty, service packages & RSA programs at a reasonable cost. Meanwhile, in other news, Hyundai is all set to launch the Alcazar SUV in the next few days in the Indian market. The 7-seater SUV, based on the new-gen Creta, was unveiled last month while it was expected to go on sale this month. But, now the launch has been postponed to next month due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
