Jeep has revealed the special edition versions of the Cherokee

The Cherokee S gets a Pearl White exterior and 19-inch Granite Crystal Metallic wheels as seen on the Compass S. Other design elements include a body-colored lower front fascia and fender flares, plus satin gloss Granite Crystal Metallic accents for the badges, roof rails and fog lamp bezels.

On the inside, the Cherokee S is just as feature loaded as before. There’s the 8.4-inch sat-nav unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Adaptive Cruise Control with stop & go, Active Speed Limiter, Forward Collision Warning Plus with Pedestrian Detection, Advanced Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning Plus, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Path Detection, Keyless Enter-N-Go, front and rear parking sensors and Parallel & Perpendicular Park Assist.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to a nine-speed auto and four-wheel drive system, the setup produces 270 PS of power. The new Cherokee S is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2019 for the European markets.

The Cherokee Trailhawk features a more aggressive look and stance. It gets 17-inch wheels, off-road tires, aggressive approach and departure angles at 29.9 degrees and 32.2 degrees, respectively. Moreover, it gets unique front and rear fascia and skid plates, Jeep Active Drive Lock, and 220 mm of in ground clearance.

The exterior is clad in Firecracker Red Clear Coat livery. Features on offer include front and rear parking sensors, Adaptive Cruise Control, 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, configurable 7-inch TFT color screen and a premium sound system with 9 speakers and a subwoofer. The Cherokee Trailhawk is quite extensive and includes Active Speed Limiter, Forward Collision Warning Plus with pedestrian recognition, Advanced Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning Plus, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Path Detection, Keyless Enter-N-Go and Parallel & Perpendicular Park Assist.

It is powered by the same engine seen on the Cherokee S. It’s a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit mated to a nine-speed auto that generates 270 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque paired to a nine-speed auto. The new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk will be available for sale in Jeep showrooms across Europe starting this April.
