Kawasaki name is regarded with reverence in terms of superbikes and the revealing of Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R in Japan is giving bike lovers something to savour amid the Coronavirus epidemic. As the name suggests, this bike is designed to rule the race track. The race-specific Kawasaki Nina ZX-25R will be competing in the Japanese one-make series scheduled to take place in 2021. The one-make racing championship is being organized by Kawasaki Ninja and ZX-25R will be expected to burn the track. Kawasaki Ninja Zx-25R launch date isn’t clear due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the world.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R race model will be powered by a 250cc in-line 4 cylinder petrol engine but will be customized to suite a race track. The Custom Racer comes fitted with lightweight carbon fibre components and frame with carbon fibre covers. The sports motorcycle uses carbon fibre to stay lightweight and be faster on a racing circuit. The racing machine does not come with a headlamp, tail lamp, rearview mirrors and number plate as it is created exclusively for racing enthusiasts.
It's suspension is sourced from Showa while Dunlop provides the rubber for this motorcycle. A-TEC provides other components like seat cowl, and the race tank pad. Complete tech specifications are still unclear but we expect some eye-catching numbers in terms of performance. The motorcycle is a quarter-litre sports bike and would be fun to ride this on a circuit. The stock ZX-25R will be expected to generate 40 bhp of max power but it’s arrival at the stores is delayed to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The standard Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R rivals Honda CBR250RR but the racing one won’t have any competition as Honda hasn’t revealed any plans for a similar race pedigree motorcycle.
