Kawasaki has launched the Ninja ZX-6R in India which is being locally assembled in India

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R launched in India, priced at Rs. 10.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). The supersport has been launched with an introductory price which is expected to increase later. The bike is being assembled locally in India via the CKD kits. The pre-bookings of the Ninja ZX-6R commenced in October last year.

The first batch of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is limited to certain units and based on the demand in India, Kawasaki will further get more bikes to our market. The bike is powered by a 636cc, in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 130 PS at 13,500 RPM with a peak torque of 70.8 Nm at 11,000 RPM. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is being offered with a single colour option in India, which is the KRT edition colour scheme. The bike has an aggressive styling thanks to the new design language of Kawasaki. Some of the key features of the bike include Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System, Kawasaki TRaction Control, Kawasaki Quick Shifter, etc.

The Ninja ZX-6R gets dual semi-floating 310 mm petal front discs and single 220 mm rear petal disc brakes. It has 120/70/R17 section front and 180/55/R17 section rear tyres. The 6R has a ground clearance of 130 mm, seat height is 830 mm, kerb weight is 196 kg and fuel tank capacity of 17-litres is being offered.
