KTM RC 200 ABS Launched, Priced At Rs. 1.88 Lakhs

KTM has introduced ABS in the RC 200 and it comes with a price tag of Rs. 1.88 lakhs.

The KTM RC 200 is now equipped with ABS ahead of the implementation of safety regulations this year. The RC 200 gets a single channel ABS system that was also introduced recently in the KTM Duke 200. The KTM RC 200 ABS has been priced at Rs. 1.88 lakhs (ex-showroom), which is Rs. 9000/- over the non-ABS version of the RC 200.

Powering the KTM RC 200 is the same 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces a maximum power output of 25.8 HP with a peak torque output of 19.2 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Apart from the addition of ABS, there are no changes done to the bike.

It comes with an upside down fork at the front and monoshock rear suspension. Dealers have commenced the bookings of the RC 200 ABS while the non-ABS will still remain on sale until the stocks last. There are many buyers who are willing to buy ABS equipped RC 200 and this is a good news for them as the bike didn't even get ABS as an option.
