KTM has announced some big plans India Bike Week 2019. At the event, the KTM will launch the highly anticipated 390 Adventure and also its entire line up for the year 2020-2021. The line-up will include updated BSVI compliant models of the current bikes available in the market.
Out of the first BSVI models that will up for the sale will be KTM 250 Duke, 390 Duke and RC 390. The bikes would carry an additional price tag of Rs. 15,000 whose deliveries will commence from 20th December 2019. The company’s smallest offering KTM 125 Duke will be available in BSVI variant from January 2020. The bike would bear a price hike of Rs. 8,000 – Rs. 10,000. The deliveries of the Duke 200 are expected to commence from February 2020.
While the BSVI bikes are reported to have a slight decrease in the power but, there won’t be significant power loss om the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure as it was unveiled in Euro 5 spec.
While the small capacity bikes will have a noticeable drop in power, but it won’t be by huge margin.
Also, KTM can surprise the Indian bike enthusiasts by showcasing 790 Adventure at the India Bike Week before its official launch in the next year.
There are speculations that we might get to see the 390-based Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 at the motorcycle event in Goa.
