The next-gen XUV500 and an all-new new Ford SUV will be built on the same platform. The companies are also evaluating an all-new compact SUV and are deciding whether to use Mahindra powertrains for future Ford models. The companies will also work together on an electric vehicle, which could be based on the Ford Aspire but will be powered by a Mahindra EV powertrain. The companies will also work on connected car tech as well.

Six months earlier, Mahindra & Mahindra and Ford announced their intent to explore an alliance and we’re seeing it unfold now.
