Mahindra BE.05 EV Spotted Testing in India Ahead of Its Launch in October 2025

The BE.05 EV will be based on the INGLO platform, and the upcoming Mahindra EVs will be manufactured on the same platform.

Mahindra is gearing up to expand its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of new models. Recently, the auto giant started testing the BE.05 EV, and it will be launched in October 2025. The car has been seen testing on Indian roads. Spy shots of the SUV have been circulating on social media. Mahindra also unveiled various electric vehicles in 2022.

The Mahindra BE.05 has a design like a coupe, and although it is an SUV, it appears to be quite sporty. It comes equipped with the same front door handles that are also integrated into the XUV700. The back door handles are located on the C-pillar. The automaker will also provide a panoramic sunroof in the upcoming SUV. The test mule comes with a spoiler integrated into the back tailgate window, which will aid in reducing drag and enhancing its efficiency.

The company is all set to finalize the manufacturing design, as the test mule was seen equipped with outside wipers and rear view mirrors. The headlamp units were not visible in the spy shots. The test mule that was spotted wearing camouflage itself said ‘BE’. Therefore, it is anticipated that BE vehicles that will be launched under the brand BE are going to utilize the same camouflage.

The upcoming EV will be based on the INGLO platform. Mahindra will underpin its upcoming electric vehicle on the same platform. The INGLO is a scalable platform that can be used to build a vehicle that is between 4.3 m and 5m.

The BE.05 EV will measure 4,370 mm in length and 1,635 mm in height, and it will have a width of 1,900 mm. It will come with a 2,775-mm wheelbase. In the new SUV, the brand has integrated the wheels on the corners, whereas the floorboard incorporates the battery set. The BE.05 SUV will come with a flat floor, which will allow the three occupants sitting in the rear bench to commute comfortably.
