Updated GLC to get MBUX Infotainment system with a 10.25-inch screen along with BS6 compliant engines and styling tweaks.

Mercedes Benz is all set to reveal the prices of its updated GLC SUV on 3rd December 2019. The updated GLC was showcased this year at the 2019 Geneva motor show.

Recently, the model was spotted road testing in the Indian conditions.

The updated GLC gets a refreshed headlamp and tail-lamp design, a new grille, and design tweaks on its front and rear bumpers and new inserts for the tail-lamps. The design cues have been taken from GLE and GLS models that are yet to arrive in India.

The car gets a huge 10.25-inch touchscreen that has the latest version of Mercedes’ high-tech MBUX system. For the first time, the new MBUX system will be introduced with ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice commands and a large central touchpad.

The car also gets a full digital instrument cluster and a few other tweaks.

Also, the updated GLC model will be BS6-compliant that will have a 2.0-litre diesel motor that can be found on the C-class and E-class sedans. Apart from the diesel variant, the car will also be available in BS6 ready petrol variant. Upon launch, the car will give tough competition to the like of the Land Rover Discovery Sport, the BMW X3 and the Volvo XC60 in our market.

Also, the company is planning to launch the next-gen GLE SUV in Jan-Feb 2019.
