Only 44 units of the 212hp motorcycle will be made.

Italian superbike maker, MV Agusta just unveiled a limited edition F4 Motorcycle, built in collaboration with F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton. Dubbed the MV Agusta F4 LH44, this is the second bike after the collaboration first spawned the Dragster RR LH.

MV Agusta will make only 44 units of this motorcycle. It is a derivative of the F4 RC, which was made using technology derived from the MV Agusta Reparto Corse Superbike. The ‘regular’ version puts out a maximum power of 205hp. However, the LH44 comes fitted with a titanium exhaust and a dedicated control unit, taking power up by 7hp to 212hp. Commenting on the partnership with MV Agusta, Hamilton said, “I am particularly excited to introduce my new bike, the F4 LH44. It looks quite stunning and I had the pleasure of riding on track a few weeks ago in Italy, it feels great and combines the best of both worlds, a race bike for the road! There will be 44 bikes produced so I hope the lucky owners will love it as much as I do.”

The F4 LH44 comes with a candy apple red fairing and pearl white chassis. The customisation that led to the making of this motorcycle was based on a joint effort between Lewis Hamilton and the CRC (Castiglioni Research Center) workshop. Interestingly, Lewis Hamilton’s private jet and Mustang Shelby GT500 are both in a similar shade of red. The near race-ready motorcycle uses top-of-the-line Öhlins shocks at the front and rear. The seat uses materials like leather and alcantara; the bike also uses lightweight magnesium alloy parts and carbon-fibre all over.

MV Agusta hasn’t revealed any prices yet.
