Peugeot Pulsion was recently spotted in India for the first time. The scooter is powered by a 125-cc engine which is currently manufactured by Mahindra-owned Peugeot at the Mandeure factory in France.

However, there are no badges that reveal the displacement if the scooter but is highly likely that the scooter will be the 125cc iteration that was launched internationally earlier this year. Mahindra Two Wheelers Europe which is a subsidiary of India's Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) acquired Peugeot Motorcycles this year.

At the moment, the Peugeot Pulsion is manufactured at the company’s Mandeure plant in France. The scooter is available in three variants – Allure, Active and RS. A 125cc, single-cylinder fuel-injected engine powers the maxi scooter. The engine is able to churn out 14.6hp of power and 11.9Nm of torque.

The scooter features analog speedometer and a reverse rev-counter that could appear as odd for the Indian market.

The company says the scooter carries the Peugeot family genes so features like the analog speedometer and reverse rev-counter that resemble to that of the Peugeot 308 car.  Some of the features that the scooter sports are LED projector headlights, large Peugeot logo at the front and the claw mark-like taillights. The Pulsion scooter is equipped with the manufacturer’s connected vehicle system, called i-Connect that displays calls, messages and other social media notifications. Also, the Pulsion’s hazard lights can be switched on via the key fob.

From the spy shots, it seems that the scooter is equipped with Michelin tyres that have a different tread as compared to the international scooter.

The international Pulsion model has a 12 Litre fuel tank which is descent to what the current scooters offer at the moment in India.

The company claims of good under-seat storage that can accommodate a full-face helmet inside.

However, there are no confirmations of the scooter being launched in India. If the scooter does get launched, it would have a premium price tag.
