Hero MotoCorp and ASDC collaborates to develop short term training courses on two-wheeler preventive maintenance & repair

Hero MotoCorp has collaborated with ASDC to develop a comprehensive two-wheeler short-term training course on two-wheeler preventive maintenance and repair. The aim is to develop customized courses that will include BS6 technology and other new features of the two-wheeler industry. This program will consist of 63 days of theory and practicals. It will be held at the approved Skilled Development Centre. This will further be followed by 14 days of ‘On the Job Training' at the authorized two-wheeler service centres. Furthermore, the course has been approved by the apex regulator National Council of Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) in the apprenticeship portal.

Through the content provided by Hero MotoCorp, ASDC plans to deliver a variety of learning modules and certifications in automotive servicing. This program will also help ASDC to enhance its capacity and capabilities in curriculum building, along with faculty training, to meet global standards.

Hero MotoCorp and ASDC, together, plan to bridge the supply gap of skilled workers in the automotive industry besides fulfilling the manpower requirement across the country. The program will also help the candidates to develop relevant skills in futuristic vehicles.
