The first edition will take place in June 2017.

Royal Enfield’s ‘Scramble’ event is a new non-extreme ride format. It is targeted at adventure riding enthusiasts and will be a mix of exploration and adventure riding, mixed with doses of healthy competition and community riding.

The first instalment will be held from June 14 to 18, 2017, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. There will be new challenges every day, including obstacles and choices based on game theory. The event has two separate points in a time-speed-distance format - participants have to be in pairs, with separate categories for men and women.

According to Rudratej Singh, president, Royal Enfield, “Through our several rides and community initiatives at Royal Enfield, we are constantly nudging our customers to increase their participation in the active pursuit of exploration. With this purpose in our minds, we have introduced Scramble. It is our first non-extreme competitive ride format for our ever growing adventure loving motorcycle community. Strengthening our association with adventure motorcycling, Scramble promises to be a lot of fun especially for participants riding the Himalayan.”
