Royal Enfield brings out new set of attractive accessories for Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 motorcycles.

It has been a perennial pain with RE owners, paying top buck for a new bike but not getting the basic convenience of tubeless tyres. However, now the company is aiming to change all that by providing tubeless tyres on alloy wheels for Interceptor and Continental GT 650. While the new models by the company are the most affordable twin-cylinder bikes in India, they still lack tubeless tyres. Tyres with tubes are not safe as they may cause accidents by instantaneous deflation at high-speeds. Even at lower speeds, once punctured, they render the bike immobile.

Whereas, tubeless tyres deflate gradually and can also be repaired by the rider with relative ease as compared to tyres with tubes. As of now only Thunderbird 350X and 500X come with tubeless tyres in the entire RE line-up. Now as the company is soon going to offer the option of alloy wheels built specifically for Royal Enfield 650 twins, the option of tubeless tyres by the virtue of the same will please new customers and owners of the bikes alike.

Forget the aftermarket accessory jungle, since the company is going to bring out its own alloy wheels, the customers can rest assured of their quality. After the introduction of these, the customers will no longer have to worry about the bad roads damaging their tyres as the manufacturer will offer better quality alloys with better standards. This will also not void the warranty, another thing that customers worry about while getting aftermarket wheels for their bikes.

The company itself is offering a lot of serious kit for customers to give them the freedom of customizing their Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 bikes. During the launch itself, the company had brought out a lot of customization options and has been updating the inventory since then. Add to this mix the plethora of options available in the aftermarket section and this leaves greater room for customers to customize their bikes according to their personal preferences and tastes.

As far as the specs of the 650 twins are concerned, the company worked hard to develop a new 647cc, parallel twin engine for the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Equipped with an engine that is mostly vibration free, and revs smoothly, the bikes come rated for producing 47 Bhp-52 Nm. Apart from the 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch as standard, the bikes also come equipped with ABS on both wheels as standard.  The market’s response to the bikes has been great and a there is a long waiting period on these bikes.
