Skoda Auto launched the Kodiaq facelift in the country last month. The automaker recently confirmed that it had lined up 1200 units of the SUV for the Indian market this year and all of them have been booked. Having said that, the Kodiaq facelift has been sold out for 2022 in just 20 days of its launch. Moving on, the SUV is brought into our country via CKD kits. It is further assembled locally at the brand's Aurangabad plant.

This announcement was made by Zac Hollis - Director, Skoda via his tweet. The waiting period for the first batch is up to four months. However, there is no such information yet as to when the second batch will begin. Besides that, Zac Hollis has also hinted that the next batch of the Kodiaq facelift will come with a price hike. At present, The three-row SUV falls in the price range of Rs 34.99 lakh - Rs 37.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the 2022 Kodiaq in detail, it is offered in a total of three trims namely Style, Sportline and Laurin & Klement. The feature list include crystalline LED headlights, redesigned hexagonal grille, body-coloured bumper, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple Carplay & Android Auto connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, nine airbags, heated & cooled front seats, electronic differential lock, hill-start assist, and many more.

Under the bonnet, The Kodiaq comes equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out 189 bhp power and 320 Nm peak torque while being mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Furthermore, the SUV rivals the likes of Citroen C5 Aircross, MG Gloster, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Toyota Fortuner.
