Tata Motors has silently introduced a new paint scheme on the Tiago hatch in the country. This new ‘Arizona Blue’ paint scheme replaces the ‘Tectonic Blue’ color. The hatchback’s new color has been borrowed from its sedan sibling Tigor. Furthermore, this new color option will be offered across all the variants of the hatchback. Besides these, Tata Tiago can also be availed with a contrasting black roof and ORVMs on the top-end XZ+ and XZA+ trims.
Apart from this new paint scheme, Tata Tiago is also available in Victory Yellow, Flame Red, Pearlescent White, Daytona Grey, and Pure Silver color options. Talking about the price, the hatchback is retailed at a starting price of Rs 4.85 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price goes as high as Rs 6.84 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the range-topping variant.
Tata has equipped the Tiago with a host of features. These include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system integrated with Apple Car Play & Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker premium sound system from Harman, all-four power windows, a cooled glovebox and automatic climate control among many others.
Under the bonnet, the Tiago is offered with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 84 bhp and a peak torque of 113 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. At present, Tata Tiago rivals the likes of Hyundai Santro, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Ford Figo in the Indian market.
