The Thunderbird 350X will be sold alongside the 500X in 2018.

The company intends to launch two versions of its popular Thunderbird, the 350X and 500X. The bikes will be less classic and more urban take on its Thunderbird range with a younger target audience in mind.

The 350X will get similar styling elements as the 500X and they will see alloy wheels on Royal Enfield’s motorcycles for the first time. Both bikes will be fitted with matte-black 9-spoke units, which deviate from RE’s retro design language. The bikes will come with an all-new seat, a single-piece unit which looks modern. The X’s seat doesn’t get a backrest though. Lots of the bits will be finished in black as well.

The Thunderbird 350X will be available in red and white, while the 500X will be available in bright yellow and blue colours. Expect X variants to be priced at a slight premium over the existing Thunderbirds.
