Tork Motors Announces Year-End Discount on Kratos R

Buyers can now get their hands on a cash discount of INR 22,000 when buying the Kratos Urban or Kratos R models.

Tork Motors is offering a year-end discount on its Kratos R electric motorcycle. Customers can get their hands on a cash discount of INR 22,000 on the electric bike. The automaker is only providing year-end offers on purchasing the Kratos Urban or Kratos R variants. The new offer is only valid until December 31, 2023.

The Pune-based startup has stated on its official website that the new offer is only valid on bookings made before the end of this year. The Tork Kratos R electric bike is available at a price of INR 1.87 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Kratos Urban is priced at INR 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom). With a high speed of 105 kmph, the motorcycle can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. The Kratos R comes with an axial flux PMS motor that churns out an output of 6 bhp, 38 Nm of torque output, and 9 kW (12 bhp) of peak output.

The Kratos R is equipped with a 4-kWh lithium-ion battery set. The electric motorcycle is available in three modes: city, sport, and eco. The motorcycle comes with a claimed range of 120 km on one charge in Eco mode, 70 km in Sport mode, and 100 km in City mode.

Tork Motors recently introduced a new Eco+ mode on the Kratos R to enhance its range efficiency. The new Eco+ mode boosts the range to over 150 km and 180 km of an IDC on one charge. The new Eco+ mode is limited to 35 kmph.

The Indian electric motorcycle segment is growing rapidly, and several major automakers are joining the ranks. The Tork Kratos R electric motorcycle rivals the likes of the Oben Rorr, the forthcoming Matter Aera Revolt RV400, and the Hop Oxo.
