In accordance to the Emission norms that come into effect on the 31st of March 2020, TVS Motor Company has announced the price of TVS Apache RR 310 that is now BS6 complaint. Thus, the price of TVS Apache RR 310 stands Rs 2.40 lakhs (ex-showroom) Delhi. This when compared to the outgoing BS4 model is Rs 12,000 more expensive as it provides some new features like Multiple Ride Modes, a multi-information race computer, throttle by wire technology and bluetooth enabled SmartXonnect with interactive ride analysis. The homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer has also introduced a new Titanium Black Colour on the bike. For a better riding experience Apache RR 310 comes fitted with a new set of Michelin tyres.
“We are delighted to introduce the new generation of our TVS Apache RR310 BS-VI 2020 motorcycle. This super-premium motorcycle has been a favourite amongst motorcycle enthusiast and is considered an ultimate track machine, since its launch in 2017. The newly launched machine will further move the needle by creating a technological benchmark with many segment first features, thereby strengthening its status of being the best in class vehicle. With the transition to BS-VI, the motorcycle offers further refinement that are in line with the current emission norms, with optimum performance, said Meghashyam Dighole, Head - (Marketing) Premium Motorcycles, TVS Motor Company on the occasion of this launch.
Besides converting the engine to a BS6 motor, the power output of 2020 TVS Apache RR310 remains more or less the same as before. The TVS Apache RR features a 313cc, liquid-cooled petrol engine that is good for 33.5 bhp with 27.3 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes matted to a 6-speed manual transmission along with a slipper clutch. The bike offers four riding modes namely Rain, Urban, Sport and Track.
Maruti Suzuki, the renowned car manufacturer, has announced a recall for 87,599 units of its popular models, S Presso and Eeco, in India. The affected vehicles were manufactured between July 2021 and February 2023. This recall marks the company's fourth such action this year.
