TVS launches White Race Edition of the Apache RTR 160

The bike gets a special-edition colour scheme but remains unchanged mechanically.

The ‘White Race Edition’ is mechanically identical to the standard bike. You can buy it in two variants – front disc/rear drum (Rs 79,715) and front disc/rear disc (Rs 82,044) (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

The bike is largely white, with a few red stripes and it also gets a new fuel-tank badge. The White Race Edition costs the same as the Matte Red edition which was launched last year. Both bikes are priced Rs 1,000 higher than the standard RTR 160.

Mechanically, there is no difference, the bike uses the same 159.7cc single-cylinder motor that makes 15.1hp and 13Nm. The motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
