Volkswagen introduced a new Matt Edition variant to its Polo and Vento lineup. The Polo Matt Edition is priced at Rs 9.99 lakhs 9ex-showroom). While the Vento Matt Edition falls in the price range of Rs 11.94 lakhs - Rs 13.34 lakhs (ex-showroom). The special edition of both hatchback and sedan gets a Carbon Steel Grey Matt color. 

Volkswagen Polo Matt Edition: Design & Features

Volkswagen Polo Matt Edition is based on the top-end Polo GT variant. It gets glossy black treatment on door handles and ORVMs. Other feature highlights include a sporty black spoiler, 16-inch alloy wheels, multi-function steering control, a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple Carplay & Android Auto connectivity, multi-function console, voice control, cruise control among many others. 


Volkswagen Vento Matt Edition: Design & Features

The Volkswagen Vento Matt Edition is offered in two trims namely Highline AT and Highline Plus AT. The former gets features like 15-inch alloy wheels and dual-tone leatherette upholstery. While the latter comes equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with DRLs, a rear parking camera, and many more. 

Volkswagen Polo & Vento Matt Edition: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, both special edition models get a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that churns out a top power of 108 bhp at 5000-5500rpm and a peak torque of 175 Nm at 1750-4000rpm. The motor is further mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
