As all the manufacturers are gearing up for 2019 safety regulations, Yamaha Motor India has updated their lineup of scooters with Unified Braking System (UBS). It is basically combined braking system wherein the front and rear brakes are applied simultaneously for optimum braking performance regardless of the rider applying front or rear brakes.
The Japanese bike maker has also introduced maintenance free battery with this update. The entire lineup of scooters including Yamaha Fascino, Cygnus Ray ZR, Cygnus Ray ZR Street Rally and Cygnus Alpha have got these changes. Also, Yamaha has introduced a new Season Green colour with the Yamaha Fascino scooter.
Yamaha has also updated their motorcycle lineup for the upcoming safety regulations and has equipped its bikes with ABS including YZF-R15 Version 3.0, new FZ FI, FZS FI, FZ 25 and Fazer 25. The Japanese bike maker has also introduced new colours with these updates. With a fresh lineup of bikes, the prices have increased marginally with these updates.
Kia India is expected to commence bookings for the SUV on the day of its launch, but the pricing details are likely to be revealed in January 2024.
