BMW dealers have started accepting bookings for the upcoming 2019 3-Series in India.
BMW recently unveiled the seventh generation 3-Series at the Paris Motor Show impressing its fans. BMW dealers across the country have now started pre-bookings for the entry level luxury sedan. The next-gen BMW 3-Series will be seen on Indian roads sometime in mid-2019. The new 3-series will rival the Mercedes C-Class, Audi A4, Jaguar XE and the upcoming Volvo S60.
The 2019 3-Series is much more aggressively styled than its predecessor. There are sharp lines and cues to be seen on the front as well as the rear of the car. The interiors are even more modern now with the inclusion of two screens in the dashboard. Other than the digital infotainment on the center console, the car also gets an all-digital instrument cluster similar to the Virtual Cockpit seen on Audi cars.
BMW will continue to offer the next-gen 3-series in both petrol and diesel guises in the form of 320i and 320d. BMW is also expected to offer more powerful versions of the car like the 330i and 330d as the current generation 3-series has been receiving good response for the M-Sport package. However, these variants will come in at a later time from the launch of the car.
The 2019 BMW 3-Series will retail at a slight premium over the current generation 3-Series. The expected price tag should be between Rs. 40-50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
