2019 BMW 7-Series facelift has been revealed that comes with styling changes, new engines as well as new features on offer. The updated model comes with a revised front that gets larger kidney grille, new headlamps and revised bumpers. The rear profile has also been changed and now it gets slimmer LED tail lights with a new LED strip that adds to the aesthetics of the luxury flagship sedan.
BMW is offering multiple diesel and petrol engine options with the new 7-Series. While the diesel engine options remain unchanged, there is a new petrol engine that made its debut with the new 8-Series. It is a 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine produces 530 PS and 750 Nm of torque in the 750i xDrive and 750Li xDrive models.
The new 7 also gets the updated plug-in hybrid 745e that comes with a new in-line six engine producing a combined output of 394 PS and 600 Nm of torque. The M760Li xDrive comes with a 6.6-litre V12 that puts out 585 PS and 850 Nm. This version is capable of 0-100 km/hr acceleration in 3.8 seconds while the top speed is 305 km/hr.
The interior gets very minor changes. It gets a new touchscreen infotainment system at the front and 10-inch touchscreen displays for the rear passengers. The interior now gets roomier thanks to the added length. We expect BMW to launch the facelifted 7-Series in India too with both petrol and diesel engine options.
